This serves no real purpose other than to cater to the "rules" of blockbuster movie-making. Well maybe, but I thought for a moment I was watching the wrong film, where he's training him in sword fighting. Look, it's a beautiful film, there is no doubt about that, it has great moments and a good cast. But I prefer the Tim Burton Batman films, I think. There are some aspects of the film that I still cal into question (Jessica Alba has neither the age or the depth for the sue storm Character) but I understand certain concessions of making a large budget studio project. When you watch it, you feel like the society and the people in have descended from generations of people who have been in the "business".
